Fundraiser for Digital Distribution
The final pledge drive begins just in time for the holiday gift-giving season! We've been approached for digital distribution, but we can't do that until we acquire the last set of usage rights for 37 of the historical images used in Ghosts of the West. Here's your chance to help us get past that final hurdle, get a copy of the film for yourself or your friends and family, and get yourself immortalized with the list of supporters here on the website and on all future printed

GHOSTS Plays to Packed House in Historic Mining Town
Presented by the South Park Historical Foundation, Ghosts of the West played to a full house at the Alma Town Hall. As was the case in Saguache, audience members were strongly connected with the film's subject matter and the sequence on South Park City drew applause as soon as it appeared on screen. Local newspaper correspondent Laura Van Dusen covered the event in The Flume. See the write-up at the paper's website here: "Ghosts of the West" in The Flume. #ghostsofthewest #so

Box Office Lines for GHOSTS at the Historic Ute Theatre
Moviegoers came from over 80 miles away to see the San Luis Valley screening of Ghosts of the West. The line at the box office for the 4PM show stretched down the block, recalling the heyday of a 1940s-era movie opening. The film played to full audiences whose families LIVED some of the histories portrayed in the documentary. In all cases, the filmmakers were commended for their accuracy and sensitivity to the subject by those who know the stories best. #ghostsofthewest
